Girls and Fats

A lot of girls today has a persistent belief that she has to be perfect 24/7, which is so uncool. For certain girls, 40 kg is equal to 60 kg and so 60 kg is equal to 80 kg. We may think that we are too fat to be ideal when we actually look like a log... a stick to be accurate.

This infected perspective should be treated. This may result to the bulimia nervosa or anorexia nervosa. Delusions that you are too fat despite being emaciated. Being too thin is obviously not an excellent achievement. And so do being too fat.

Bulimia Nervosa
Bulimia Nervosa is an eating disorder characterized by restraining of food intake for a period of time followed by an over intake or binging period that results in feeling guilt and low self-esteem. For example, when we eat, we use the defensive vomiting method or laxatives to throw out the food that has been eaten.

Anorexia Nervosa
Anorexia Nervosa is an eating disorder characterized by refusal to maintain a healthy body weight, and an obsessive fear of gaining weight due to distorted self image. For example, you weight 32 kg but you still think you are the fattest person alive. You try to reduce your weight by eliminating foods or excessive exercises which resulting you become extremely skinny.

Waist to Hip Ratio (WHR)
Ideally, woman should have a waist to hip ratio of 0.8 or less. Waist to hip ratio (WHR) is the ratio of the circumference of the waist to that the hips. It is calculated by measuring the smallest circumference of the waist, and dividing by the hip circumference at its widest part of the hip. So, when you get 0.8 or 0.76 or 0.7, VOILA! you're ideal, mademoiselle.

Obviously, this is not my calculation. Pfft

Body Mass Index (BMI)
BMI is the heuristic measure of body weight based on a person's weight and height.

Underweight : less than 18.5
Normal : 18.5 to 24.9
Overweight : 25 to 29.9
Obesity : 30 or greater

How to calculate? Divide your weight (kg) with height times height (meter times meter). There you go. Your BMI is identified.

p/s : shorty is an excuses :)
