SHE'S A GIRL OF...

She’s a girl of 6,

When she was playing hide and seek,

And rode the bicycle joyfully,

With Her hair waved gently in the breeze.

She’s a girl of 16,

When she was applying a lip-gloss on her lips,

With skinny and cardigans filling up her drawer,

and a pocketful of money, ready to have fun.

She’s a girl of 20,

When she was holding his hand,

With a mind that was singing loves song,

And a heart that was no longer alone.

She’s a girl of 30

When she was carrying a child,

Throwing a ‘welcome home’ smile sweetly,

As she greeted her husband pleasantly.

She’s a girl of 50

When she was arranging her daughter’s wedding,

Busying herself with works and chores,

With a singing heart and a motherly smile.

She’s a girl of 65,

When she was laying on her bed,

Hardly breathing and just whispering,

remembering the story of her life,

With the last breath, she’s now gone.
